The Blue Cottage is located atop beautiful, historic Lookout Mountain. It comfortably accomodates 2 people. The cottage is within walking distance of the Lookout Mountain Flight Park (hang gliding), and within an easy 7-8 mile drive to Rock City, Point Park and Ruby Falls. Cloudland Canyon State Park is just down the road and offers wonderful hiking trails and waterfalls. Pets are allowed. Prior approval is required. A pet fee is charged. Nestled atop a hill on 60 pastoral acres in Wildwood, Georgia, this charmingly rustic one room cabin makes for an ideal family basecamp for local adventures or a romantic couples getaway. The cabin is newly constructed from 150 year old barn timbers and surrounded by shady forests and open pastures. The rest of the world may feel far away, yet Tadpole is only minutes from downtown Chattanooga, Cloudland Canyon State Park and most other area attractions. The perfect escape from everyday life.

Fernwood Forest

This is a true log cabin in the woods adjoining 9,000 acres of Chattahoochee National Forest. The home is on a small creek in a valley by Taylor's Ridge with private trails to the top of the mountain. There is a large stone fireplace in the den. Though it is a rustic setting we have great WIFI and streaming 4K HDR TV. We have space and facilities for dog and horse owners. Cloudland Canyon, Jarrod's Place Bike Park, Dalton, GA, and Chattanooga, TN are nearby and great day time destinations.
