Rustic Mountain Cabin

Our log cabin nestled in the “High Country” of North Carolina has been in the family since 1979 when my grandparents, looking for a place to retire, moved here after falling in love with the area. The cabin was originally built in Virginia but was moved to Valle Crucis in the 1950s. Our dream has been to turn it into a peaceful mountain get-away for people looking for a break from the busyness of life to enjoy some time in the valley to rest, relax and explore the area.

Come enjoy a gorgeous family friendly cabin where modern meets rustic. Entry level parking. Dreamy king suite on the main level that opens to upper deck. Laundry, half bath, dining room, sitting room and kitchen with vaulted ceilings on the main level. Central air provides A/C for summer and heat in the winter. Enjoy mountain views in the winter and partial views in the summer. The lower level has two beds, one bath, and an extra living space with a large sectional.

The Bitterroot Barn

The Bitterroot Barn is unique small structure with a queen size bed, two twin size beds in the loft. Built by Gary from the show "Mountain Men" on History Channel, it has a Full bath, kitchenette, Roku TV, Wifi, and a Bluetooth Surround Soundbar. There is a gas fire pit, small grill on the porch. If you are looking to experience what a nice tiny home feels like, we highly recommend visiting the Bitterroot Barn. We are less than 7 minutes from downtown Boone.
