Our new cottages are located within 3 kilometers from Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon and 7 km from Kirkjubæjarklaustur The cottages were build in 2018 and are designed to be minimalistic, cozy and to enjoy the amazing nature that Iceland has to offer. If you are lucky you might even see the Nothern Lights in the sky on a cold winter night.

The apartment is a part of the house complex at Sunnuhlíð, a farmland close to the town of Akureyri. The apartment is perfect for four adults, two couples or families traveling on their own. Guests can enjoy the beautiful view of Eyjafjörður and Akureyri. Additional fee for more than two guests is  € 18 per guest, per night.

Fossar Cabin

Our cozy cabin is located in a cove by a lava field and a small creek. It is 44m2 groundfloor and was built in 1962 and I renovated it in 2015. It is located on our farm Fossar , 15km away from village Kirkjubæjarklaustur by road 204.
