Beautiful KVI Beach is a short walk, through a tree-lined neighborhood, from my cozy sunlit home. A 10-minute drive brings you to a new Center for the Arts, several individually-owned art galleries, two grocery stories, and a variety of regionally-recognized and locally-loved restaurants. My 100-year-old house has color and character, a wrap-around deck, views of water and Mt. Rainier, friendly neighbors, and lush landscape. A peaceful place for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.

Vashon Clam Cove Cottage Waterfront with Views

Great 180 degree Views from south end of Vashon Island. Spectacular views of Mt. Rainier and Pt. Defiance. Tacoma city and Commencement Bay lights up views at night while Pt. Defiance is dark. This cozy 1 bedroom has a king size bed, 1 bath with a shower and unique 1/2 size tub. The views are amazing from the bedroom, kitchen and living area. At high tide you feel like you are on a boat. Access to our private boat ramp for kayak, SUP, or other small watercraft. Come enjoy being on the water!

Private beach cabin, Vashon Island

Some say the cabin has a nautical feel with galley kitchen, wood paneling and brass light fixtures. In the bathroom, copper pipes become towel racks. Outside there are deck chairs and more by the water along with a meditation maze made from beach stones. The lighthouse is a short beach walk away. The reading and writing room, across the path, is a refuge for solitary study or work. Enjoy the water, marine life and birds here where each season brings new joy and sometimes, excitement.

Vashon Island Beach Cottage

A relaxing ferry trip from West Seattle or Fast Ferry from downtown Seattle brings you to your own private walk in cottage, right on the edge of the water. Watch the ferries go by and relax, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Enjoy breathtaking sunsets over the Olympic mountains, kayaking, BBQing, a forest hiking trail with sea and mount Rainier views, beach walks, and downtown Vashon (less than 10 mins away!). Please note: The parking lot is a few minutes walk from the cottage.

This jewel of an island is located a quick 20 minute ferry boat ride from Seattle but is a paradise getaway from the bustle of life. The house, comfortable but elegant, has a truly breathtaking panoramic view of the Puget Sound and a private deck where you can sit back and watch the sun rise or set. Please Note: Because of Covid-19, we stipulate one day between the departure of a guest and the arrival of the next guest to allow our housecleaner adequate time to safely clean the house.

Trails through the forest for hiking. Mountain bike trails at Dockton Pk..Your pet is welcome, leashed, with an additional pet fee.

Come to this beach cabin to relax, enjoy the gorgeous scenery, kayak, swim, or walk along the beach, and let your worries drift away. Located on Case Inlet's secluded Rocky Bay. This gorgeous cabin is packed full of fun and amenities! It's a destination in its own right. You won't want to leave. Well behaved pets are welcome. Come explore beautiful Bainbridge Island and stay in our comfortable guest home. Located 5 miles from the ferry on the Northeast side of the island. This home is a separate dwelling with it's own driveway and private entrance located on our property. The short walk to the beach is about 5 minutes where you can have a beach fire, build a fort or simply relax and enjoy the views of the shipping lanes, Mt. Rainer, herons, eagles, orcas and our neighborhood sea lions.

Welcome to the Vashon Beach House. Located on sought after sandy KVI Beach. No high bank bluffs or trails. This is the only waterfront house located at beach level in the area. The home has been in our family for over 100 years. The flavor is Northwest Beach while also trying to make your stay as comfortable as we can. Our home boasts hand-hewn original rustic beams, yet also offers full wifi, TV with Netflix / Amazon Prime/ Hulu: Sonos speakers.
