This cozy 1 bedroom has a king size bed, 1 bath with a shower and unique 1/2 size tub. The views are amazing from the bedroom, kitchen and living area. At high tide you feel like you are on a boat. Access to our private boat ramp for kayak, SUP, or other small watercraft. Come enjoy being on the water!

Private beach cabin, Vashon Island

Some say the cabin has a nautical feel with galley kitchen, wood paneling and brass light fixtures. In the bathroom, copper pipes become towel racks. Outside there are deck chairs and more by the water along with a meditation maze made from beach stones. The lighthouse is a short beach walk away. The reading and writing room, across the path, is a refuge for solitary study or work. Enjoy the water, marine life and birds here where each season brings new joy and sometimes, excitement.

This jewel of an island is located a quick 20 minute ferry boat ride from Seattle but is a paradise getaway from the bustle of life. The house, comfortable but elegant, has a truly breathtaking panoramic view of the Puget Sound and a private deck where you can sit back and watch the sun rise or set. Please Note: Because of Covid-19, we stipulate one day between the departure of a guest and the arrival of the next guest to allow our housecleaner adequate time to safely clean the house.

Once tucked back into the woods, this newly improved 1920s cabin now enjoys a front-row seat to the grandeur of the Hood Canal thanks to a tidal creek that has washed away the sandy soil that once supported the departed trees. Get away for a weekend or longer and enjoy this peaceful retreat with its stunning views of Mt. Rainier and the South Sound islands. The historic house has plenty of room to spread out and, comfortable spaces to gather together. Launch your kayaks (provided) from the private beach or dock, then paddle around and explore Filucy Bay. For fine dining (or just great, casual food), visit nearby Gig Harbor or stay and cook in the well-equipped kitchen.

Welcome to the Vashon Beach House. Located on sought after sandy KVI Beach. No high bank bluffs or trails. This is the only waterfront house located at beach level in the area. The home has been in our family for over 100 years. The flavor is Northwest Beach while also trying to make your stay as comfortable as we can. Our home boasts hand-hewn original rustic beams, yet also offers full wifi, TV with Netflix / Amazon Prime/ Hulu: Sonos speakers.

Enjoy the front porch watching the sunrise or sunsets. Less than 5 min walk to historic Manette where you will find restaurants, shopping & entertainment. Cozy 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom fully furnished with amenities to enjoy your stay.

* The cabin is close to the park, hiking trails, boat launch boat and bike rentals. You’ll love my place because of the views, being right on the private beach and the quiet peninsula. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers and families. No need to rent kayaks. I have several, a rowboat and paddle board. * I charge a $70 pet fee. Please check "Additional Rules"

It features 100-plus feet of private, accessible tidal beach waiting to be combed, where gulls chase off bald eagles as a blue heron wades quietly at the water's edge.
