The Magical Cabin on Back Creek

Magic is the word most people use when they visit this hidden gem. Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. Full kitchen and dining as well as a furnished outdoor patio space with hot tub. The is an outdoor grill fire pit. A pontoon boat, 2 stand up paddleboards and 2 kayaks are available to rent. You are welcome to share the dock with us! It's a number of steps to get to the water, but well worth the walk back up.

Our cabin is built out of old wood and doors found on the farm. Because I am such a cold natured person, I installed heated floors and a heated towel bar in addition to the mini-split and electric fireplace! The cabin is surrounded by pastures that are the home to our cows, horses, goats, pot belly pig, and chickens. The highlight of a stay at BWJ Cabin would be to sit on the front porch in a rocking chair, day bed swing or hot tub looking out over the landscape and do nothing.

This stylish one bedroom A-frame cabin features spiral stairs, natural wood finishes, huge glass windows with a spacious deck with private gorgeous views, a hot tub with unlimited star gazing above! If you are like myself and enjoy movies and tv, we have Netflix, Hulu, and Disney Plus for all of our guests on both of the TV’s. We give you the chance to get away from it all, and enjoy the company of many of our loving farm animals.

You are welcome to grill out on the Blackstone, enjoy the fire pit, and relax on the dock. There are two miles of trails on the 37-acre property with their own trail signs and map.
