Balsam Hollow is a newly built, charming rustic cabin that was created from the heart for our family, friends and you. From the all-wood exterior and interior, to the log railings in the loft, staircase and covered porch with wrap-around deck, our mission is to give our guests a true Adirondack Experience. Surrounded by nature, secluded and private, yet centrally located to Saranac Lake, Lake Placid, and Rainbow Lake with 25 miles of connecting waterways. You will find a snow shoe trail and cross country skiing on our 10 acres. Outside grill and fire pit. With our tankless water system you will have an endless supply of hot water to enjoy! Even though we are tucked off the beaten trail we are close to so much adventure! There are multiple trail heads close by, ice skating (pond style or rinks including the Olympic Oval in Lake Placid), Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort, Bobsled rides, Toboggan Shoot, Sled Dog rides, Boating, Canoeing, Mountain Beaches, Swimming Holes, White Water Rafting, Hiking, Mountain Biking, and so much more! Perfect for a couple, small family or professionals. Close to many Adirondack peaks, lakes, rivers, ponds, hiking trails and skiing. Silver lake is a private lake approximately 3.5 miles long end to end with perimeter shoreline of 13+miles. Nice for swimming, fishing, paddling and relaxing lakeside.

If you’re looking to enjoy a nice sauna, a warm jacuzzi, and/or a relaxing night with fire on a clear sky, don’t hesitate to book. It is a haven for a couple romantic getaway, a skiing experience, or a relaxing family time in the Adirondack nature. Parties are not allowed for safety reasons.
