Or ride the bus 30 min. from downtown Kyoto or 20 min. from JR Otsukyo Sta. and get off before Hieidaira convenience store. The host will meet you there. Bus service drastically reduced since Covid-19. Free parking space. Easy access to both Kyoto and Lake Biwa. Rich in nature. Completely detached, full privacy, handy & cozy like home. Terrace bathroom and bamboo tree in house. This house was build 50 years ago. We had created terrace bathroom and bamboo forest in the house. This is entire home maximum 6 persons can stay. There are two bed rooms on the second floor. One double bed (1-2 persons) + other Tatami room with double bed (1-2 persons). We have 2 extra single mattress bed each room. This is very good for two families or groups maximum for 6 persons. You can also use backyard BBQ garden patio.
