The Great Hall, Dollarbeg Castle

This 2 bedroom apartment is the beautifully converted former Great Hall of Dollarbeg Castle. Built in 1890, Dollarbeg Castle was the last gothic baronial style building of its type ever built. Beautifully restored in 2007 to the very highest standards, it was converted into 10 luxury properties, one of which is a conversion of the original "Great Hall" with its vaulted ceiling and majestic views across the formal grounds towards the Ochil Hills in the distance.

The Wee Blue Hoose has been a shop, a church hall and our wedding venue. We've transformed it into a relaxing, social hoose with log burner, enclosed garden and beautiful views of the mountains. Ideal location to explore the many munros in Argyll, or take a trip to one of the islands, or just simply relax, get the log burner going and grab a book. NB: Access to my living space is via the sitting room, this means I pass through as I leave and enter the house (always at sociable hours and pre-agreed times, so you won't be disturbed) This is reflected in the price.

You can order ready-to-cook packs from us, freshly prepared and seasoned by a local farm café. They require no preparation and are easy to cook for a hot, delicious meal. All necessary cooking equipment is provided in the kitchen. ** GBP14 per meal, per person, with rice or pasta.** We currently offer Salt and Chilli Chicken, Macaroni Cheese (V), Venison Stroganoff (Gluten-free) and Beef Meatballs.
