Miekojärvi Resort is located at the northern end of scenic Lake Mieko in Sirkkakoski, Pello. Mieko is one of Finland’s finest catch-rich lakes and as such a very attractive destination for visitors keen on fishing. We can organise a guide to accompany you on request. The holiday home is located in Kaulinranta, a small village in the municipality of Ylitornio, near the Tornio River. The river offers excellent fishing and canoeing opportunities. The property is also just a 15-minute drive from Aavasaksa, Ylitornio’s best-known attraction and one of Finland’s national landscapes. Enjoy stunning views from the top, visit the historic Emperor’s Cabin, the observation tower, and the UNESCO-listed Struve Geodetic Arc survey point.
