Our peaceful Petoskey/Alanson-area retreat is a comfy home base for hiking, biking, and fishing/ kayaking—and also for shopping, dining, and scenic drives. Come home each evening to relax under a starlight canopy and s'mores at the fire pit. We’re booked for much of the season, but cancellations happen—and it’s never too early to plan ahead!

We have a beautiful built 1000 sq ft Aframe! Recently installed a 100 inch theater system in the livingroom! Cabin is in Lakes of the North, which offers a perfect getaway for the outdoorsman. Side by Side trails! We offer 2 kayaks to use (must transport) cornhole boards & bags, trail riding your UTV/ORV, hiking, rafting at Jordan Valley Outfitter, snowmobiling. & many fine dining restaurants, several ski resorts and short day trips! Additionally, a 90 jet hottub for ultimate relaxation!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful 3 bedroom 1.5 bath home nestled perfectly off the beaten path, yet close to town, shopping and all the area has to offer! Large Living /Entertainment room perfect for family game night! Designated workspace with a computer monitor. Separate sitting room is perfect for quiet conversations or reading your favorite novel with a glass of wine or coffee. End the day with a back yard barbecue on the grill & roast some smores at the evening campfire.

Burt Lake Waterfront Hideaway

Enjoy beautiful lake front northern MI, close to many "Tip of the Mitt" towns, trails, activities while enjoying beautiful Burt Lake, including our sunsets. Our guest house is on the second floor of our detached garage. It is at the end of a quiet road and is located off I-75 (exit 310 and 313), 3 miles from town, but 30-40 minutes from many other towns. Kayaks, small grill, camp fires on windless nights. No pets. Close launches for boat launching. Space to park boat/trailer on land.

Our little cottage in the woods is the perfect place to get away from the hustle & bustle, & enjoy all that Northern Michigan has to offer. Nestled in the little town of Topinabee, you'll be in between two of Michigan’s most beautiful lakes. Bring your boat & explore the Inland Water Way. Mackinaw City is a short drive away & a visit to the island is a must. If you prefer dry ground, explore the vast trail system or the area golf courses. A perfect location to enjoy all seasons.

The Rhubarbary Ruins - with an outdoor sauna

We have just added an outdoor sauna to this fabulous cabin in the woods behind our house. Although there is only 1 proper bedroom there is a sleeping loft with a queen size bed and window overlooking the hardwood forest. We also have a pull-out couch. Guests have complete privacy and everything provided for a comfortable stay This is a cabin with peaceful relaxation in mind....no loud parties or anything of that nature. Come and enjoy northern Michigan's beauty in all seasons.
