Rocky Valley towards the sea and Bossiney Cove (ideal beach for swimming) are just 30 minutes walk away and you can't leave without having a drink at The Port William, Trebarwith Strand with it's sea views Also nearby is Port Isaac, Rock, Bude and Bodmin moor.

Carpenters Cottage is a peaceful, and comfortable hideaway between Tintagel and Boscastle. The cottage is fully equipped for self catering and is perfect for anyone who loves to be near the sea and is particularly good for walkers. There is off road parking for one car and lovely walks straight from the cottage to the South West Coast Path. There are plenty of places to eat locally. The Lodge, close to Tintagel

The Lodge, Beaver Cottages, (AA 4* rated) is within walking distance of Tintagel and the dog friendly sandy beach at Trebarwith Strand. There are pubs, shops and restaurants in Tintagel along with the historic castle with stunning new bridge. Port Isaac, Boscastle, Bude, Padstow and Bodmin Moor are only a short drive away. You’ll love my place because of the cosiness, the location, the views. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).

But if you can drag yourself away from this little gem it's a great place to explore North Cornwall's diverse delights from.

'Captain's Cabin' is a great base for exploring the incredible North Cornish coastline or relaxing on the decking with a good book and our homemade cream tea! You can walk across the meadows to Tintagel Castle, village pubs & cafes galore! Explore the lane up to National Trust land and the dramatic coastpath where you can head southwest for 3/4 of a mile to Trebarwith Strand or head in the other direction to Bossiney Beach, Rocky Valley & famous Boscastle Harbour.
