Ardale House

Ardale House is a comfortable detached property in the quiet locality of Threlkeld ideal for walkers, families or small groups. It nestles under the impressive slopes of Blencathra. It is well situated near Keswick providing easy access to the many places of interest in the northern parts of the Lake District. A short walk takes you to a renowned hostelry or coffee shop in the village hall. There is immediate access to the fells as well as numerous circular walks in the vicinity.

This beautifully presented modern, airy two bedroom bungalow sleeps up to four and one dog and is located at the foot of Blencathra mountain range in the traditional lakeland village of Threlkeld near Keswick. Snug Cottage is located at the bottom of Blencathra. It’s a perfect base to explore all local walks and enjoy the local surroundings. Within a couple of minutes walk from Snug Cottage there is a lovely coffee shop & two pubs. We are 5-10 minutes to the Railway Line which is a 4 mile walk which takes you to the closest town, Keswick - here you will find supermarkets & shops. As well as stunning views and walks, we are happy to recommend day trips and things to do.

Beltie Barn is one of our luxury Lake District hideaways sitting in the valley surrounded by mountains - Blencathra to the north and Helvellyn to the south. The view from the floating king size bed in Beltie Barn is so picture perfect, you’ll have every reason to enjoy staying in there for as long as possible! Sharp Edge (sleeps 2) is a luxury first floor apartment with stunning views over the surrounding fells from every room. You can even lie in the bath and savour the delights of Sharp Edge on Blencathra. Furnished to a high standard, the apartment sleeps two people in an en-suite room. There is a comfortable living room with dining area and fully equipped kitchen. All linen and towels (one bath towel and one hand towel per person) are provided.

Garth Cottage, Threlkeld

Garth Cottage is a fully renovated two bedroom, two bathroom cottage set at the foot of Blencathra in the village of Threlkeld, which Boasts two lovely pubs a Coffee shop and lots of nice walks from the door including the threlkeld to Keswick walk along the old railway line. After a good walk in the lakes what better way to help the legs recover than the private Hot tub with fantastic views of Clough head.
