Most people interested in local history, mining or agricultural history end up spending half a day here. There is a small Aboriginal exhibit, and displays of what life was like in the 1800s. See the video about the nearby Cadia gold mine (a lot of locals work at the mine), but most of their exhibits are of old farm machinery with plenty of buttons for children to press and see how the machinery worked.

We're members of the Golden Memories Millthorpe Museum and of course fully encourage everyone to visit the amazing collection of items that they have on show. We love the egg cleaner and the machinery displays.
