This is a great island zoo! Features gorgeous gardens, petting areas, lorry feedings (a must-do! Multicoloured lorries come and eat apple slices right from you hand) and the world's only Marching Flamingos.

The map pin is NOT correct A favorite! Check their times to hand-feed apples to the lorrikeets & see the marching flamingos! 3 blocks from the Fish Fry, and Fort Charlotte. 20 mins. by public bus.

Beautiful setting for some lovely animals. Register your visit in advance on their website as they do keep numbers down due to Covid restrictions. Mask wearing is required and well complied with. Lower numbers means you get to spend as long as you want with each animal and macaws and flamingos wander around freely. Recommend a visit while you're in the area.
