For shopping: You can go to Gurney Plaza and Gurney Paragon, located stone's throw away from each other. The famous Gurney Hawker food centre is there too. But I don't recommend going there due to sky high prices and less quality in taste. But you may try the Rojak there. Remember to ask the prices first. And then you could take a stroll along Gurney Drive walk by the coast. Take note that it will be jammed up on Friday night.
