If you love history and want to find out about Welsh history this is the place to visit. It is family friendly and free to get in. There is a bus to St Fagans or you can drive and pack, which costs about £5 for the day for parking. There is a lovely cafe there but you can also take your own picnic…

This is an open air museum with many houses and cottages rebuilt on site and furnished to show Welsh life through the ages. A really good day out and admission is free. www.museum.wales or phone 0300 111 2333

St. Fagans is a great place to visit. Its about a 10/15 min drive from the city and is free to visit there is just a car parking cost. This is a place that you can spend the whole day at. You can either take lunch with you or there is great cafe there. There is so much to see and do for all ages…
