Market inside Ferry Building with a diverse selection of famous SF eateries: Hog Island Oyster Co, Acme Bread, Cowgirl Creamery, Blue Bottle, Miette and more.
It is the center of a transit hub that connects all of San Francisco’s neighborhoods and the surrounding bay communities.
Located on the Embarcadero, this houses a ton of different restaurants and shops with amazing food and drink. Great views of the Bay Bridge as well.
A contemporary food mall with the best SF has to offer. Walk around the waterfront from here. Or to one of the many waterfront restaurants. The 9 bus line takes you there from San Bruno Ave.
The Ferry Building Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings is an institution for both locals and tourists. The outdoor farmer's market is open from 8am - 2pm and the food trucks that surround it keep similar hours (SF is obsessed with the tamales, you'll see the line at the truck!) The Ferry Building…

“Constantly bustling -- people use the square mostly as a space to relax and soak up a bit of sun, and to wallow in the atmosphere created by the surrounding cable cars, hotels and shoppers. Great for people watching! There is free wi-fi provided by the city. Look under the leaves of the greenery in the planters, and you'll find a few power outlets for your laptop.”

“When the weather is nice, you can barely see the grass due to the throngs of people lounging around. Luckily, the park was recently renovated and is big enough that you're bound to find a spot you like. The southwest corner is good for a panoramic view of the city skyline (and usually far enough away from the folks enjoying their herbal refreshments on the northern slope). There's also a nice kid's playground, although it's geared more towards older kids.”

“Beautiful (and easy) hiking trail overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge. Pick a sunny day for the views although I also love the misty fog or as we call him, Karl the Fog! He even has his own instagram @KarlTheFog ”

“What to say? One of the great parks of the United States. Just head down the hill to Kezar Stadium (at the very bottom of Willard Street) and you'll see the GGP right beyond it (walk around Kezar to the west to enter the park). You can also enter on Stanyan and Haight (and at many other points). Enjoy the Academy of Sciences, de Young Museum, Japanese Tea Garden, Stow Lake, the Conservatory of Flowers (great night time light shows in the summer and winter) and many, many other features of the park.”
