“The big “eye” is a piece of art across the street from The Joule. It is said that the hotel wanted to put a parking garage in that space and the city of Dallas said no; it would be an “eye soar”. The owners commissioned an artist to make a true “eye soar” to sit in the spot. It makes me smile. You can see it from The Joule or from the patio at the Woolworth.”
