Aptos

Aptos is about 20 minutes South of Santa Cruz. It is a quieter, more mature demographic, less touristy and a bit more upscale than Santa Cruz itself. This is a very quaint, small town, but well equipped with restaurants, food shopping, pharmacy, banks, etc. It is the closest area to get essentials except if you want to go to Watsonville main street which is good as well. (See Watsonville)

Try the Sparrow Cafe (lamb with raspberry sause) or the old hotel across the street for a drink at the bar.

Aptos Village is within walking distance or a quick drive. There's a Safeway grocery store and shopping center available for all your needs. Along with restaurants and shopping.
