My old roommate used to work at this kayak rental place. I always enjoyed stopping in when he was working and taking a kayak out. The brook that leads out to the east of Lake Tacoma weaves through all of Belle Isle and honestly you can forget you are in a big city and instead think you are in the middle of nowhere. I think you can also rent other equipment like bicycle and such to ride around the island.
