Hipsters, bohemian, rockabilly, reggae, fashionista, electro, gay ... at Södermalm you see all kinds of styles. The atmosphere is more relaxed and the beer is cheaper here. Nightlife is concentrated around Slussen, Medborgarplatsen and Hornstull.

Södermalm island/area is great. Kind of the Brooklyn (hipster part) of Stockholm. Especially around Nytorget (sofo), Mariatorget and in the other end Hornstull. Walk between them along the water on the south side, or/and along the slope overlooking the city on the north side! Really beautiful with many small cafés.

Södermalm is the City Space with most the most street life, Bars and social night life activities. You will be surrounded by Hippies.
