Head south (45 min) on the Blue Ridge Parkway - past the Pisgah Inn and you cannot miss it. Get there early on weekends, parking is limited and spreads out along the road when lot is full. This is an easy hiking area - gorgeous with color in the Fall. A waterfall near the concrete path that drops down from the lot and another 1/3 mile up the big open valley.
