The home and grounds of industrial baron Henry Clay Frick have been carefully preserved and are open to the public. The home, called Clayton, is open to small group docent-lead tours that explore Victorian life for the upper classes in rich detail. The grounds also house The Frick Museum, Pittsburgh, a gem of a small art museum, opened in 1970 to house Helen Clay Frick's (Henry & Adelaide's daughter and heir) personal art & decorative object collection. The grounds also feature The Car & Carriage Museum, a garden walk and wonderful cafe and shop too.
