Toowoomba's Japanese Garden at the University of Southern Queensland. Is one of our most peaceful and beautiful gardens, on four and a half hectare it is Australia's largest and most traditionally designed Japanese stroll garden. With elements of mountain stream and waterfall, Dry Garden, central lake, Azalea Hill, three kilometres of paths, 230 species of Japanese and Australian native trees and plants, and lawns combine in a seamless and restful harmony.

Beautiful oriental style gardens, you can walk by bare foot and feed ducks beside the lake.

the Toowoomba Japanese Gardens are renowned for their stunning representation of traditional Japanese landscape design. The park called “Ju Raku En”, Japanese for "enjoying peace and longevity in a public place”, is a must-see garden destination with over 100,000 visitors each year coming to take in the award winning gardens.

A surprise in the middle of suburbia… a magnificent Japanese Garden with walks, statues, sand-combing, little bridges and peace and quiet.
