Drive about an hour and a half NE to reach a deserted beach and the best fish and chips ever in the wee cafe/shop right by the tiny jetty.

Hire paddle boards, kayaks, take the sea taxi across to Culbin Sands. Book a trip on a power boat to spot dolphins and seals!

The Marina, can organise trips across the Bay to the other side as well as hiring out canoes and paddle boards. They also organise whale watching and Dolphin trips on their super fast hi-speed ribs, great fun! All these activities are best booked in advance. They have added on an ice cream parlour too this year, with an amazing variety of flavours!

The marina runs courses and lessons in sailing, powerboating and paddleboarding for children and adults. My children have all learned to sail there and we have found the staff to be friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. You can also book boat tours of the Moray Firth here - great for spotting seals and dolphins. There is also a great cafe (fish and chips, local ices, etc) which you can enjoy at tables overlooking the bay.

Good place to get out onto the water in various ways, you can hire equipment in summer season. Great wildlife boat and sightseeing trips operated by North58 from here. Good café and shop for most things nautical. Friendly service too.
