Great Real Ale pub. Great selection of locally brewed beers (including those from the Derby Brewing Company who run this pub). Also good selection of wines. Known for doing their 'racks of ale' and 'racks of wine'. This is a selection of 1/3 pint ales or small wines served on a rack with olives and cheese. Also have bands on regularly on Friday nights (tends to be last Friday of the month) Also serve food. Wednesday is Fish night. Also do special events/ nights. Welcoming to walkers, cyclists, ale lovers etc
