THE STATION The Station is must see. It’s a lovely restored former Victorian railway station, which is now a cafe/restaurant and an arts centre. It’s located by the swimming pool and river. It has a cinema, art displays, and several local small businesses, selling their own locally produce, including a bakers/delicatessen, micro brewery and ice cream shop. The café does the best breakfasts in town, served daily from 09.00 - 11.45.

The old Railway Station. Eat on the old platform, sample local beer, cheese, cakes, bread and more. Stay for a film in the 3 screen cinema. Or swim in the leisure pool next door.

A great place to gather or to wander down to. It's just a ten minute walk from Tower Street, over Mercury bridge. A former Victorian former railway station, 'The Station' is now a popular gallery space for exhibiting artists. It also features... - A small cinema - A wonderful cafe (which serves great pizzas) - An award-winning bakery; 'The Angel's Share' (try their fruit scones, you won't regret it!) - An ice-cream parlour; 'Archers' (my FAVOURITE place to get ice-cream from) - Richmond Brewing Company - The Shop (some great gifts here)

Great breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Also in the same building is The Angels Share Bakery, Archers Ice-cream parlour and a cinema.
