A 20 minute drive from The Villa but a beautiful place to walk and hike. Mostly very flat. Easy walking and just gorgeous views of the water as well as enchanted feeling eucalyptus forests!

Sprawling park with scenic, multi-use trails through meadows, eucalyptus woods, bluffs & beaches. Point Pinole Regional Shoreline features over 100 species of bird due to a myriad of habitats within its 2,315 acres. Bird life can be found on sandy shores. There are beautiful views of Mt. Tamalpais, the Marin shoreline, and San Pablo Bay with its sailboat and shipping traffic. Visitors can birdwatch, hike, ride their bicycles or horses, or take the park's shuttle bus for a mile and a half to reach Point Pinole's 1,250-foot fishing pier. There is a small fee to ride on the shuttle bus (see Shuttle Ride Fee under Park Info). Please note that dogs are not allowed on the shuttle or on the pier.

Great walks and view of the inlet bay. Check out millions of (real) Gold Flakes on the rock beach.

Nice walking, biking, or jogging trail. 1.5 miles to the pier, where you can fish without a license.
