Being the closest to the city of Gaia, Praia de Lavadores marks the beginning of a continuous strip of sand that extends for many kilometers to the south, always flanked by a Marginal Avenue, excellent for pleasant walks along the coast.

My favorite surf beach! Has a great surf school where you can learn and rent material. Totally worth the trip. You really feel the authentic north beach (which unfortunately also means the water is freezing....)

A praia fica perto da habitação e tem transportes públicos (autocarros) que o levam diretamente à praia.
