Surrounded by Lough Mask and Lough Corrib and smaller Lough Na Fooey, with lots of recreation from easy walks to hill climbs to fishing and kayaking among one of the many outdoor activities to experience. Hill walks all around.The cottage sleeps 5 with a crackling fireplace as the centerpiece of the living space.

There are plenty beautiful , scenic hills & mountains to climb & we are 5 mins away from Lough Mask. We have a great parkland golf club & racecourse nearby. It is also ideal for a couple with a child aged 3-18 yrs as 2nd bed is a sofa bed in liv room. Please inform me in advance of your stay if you wish to have sofa bed made up as a bed. Features include 3 murders holes and a dungeon The castle was built by the DeBurgo family (approximately 1480). It had the distinction of being shelled by the British Gunboat ” Helga” during the1916 Rising to disband rebels
