Our mountain sanctuary

Come relax and play in the great outdoors. Our area is abundant with lakes, rivers, waterfalls and hiking (the Appalachian trail is just a mile away). Our rustic cabin is built from 1875 hand hewn logs and is located on Spivey Creek in Unicoi County Tennessee. The towns of Erwin TN and Burnsville NC are just down the mountain for shopping convenience. For the arts, entertainment and airport convenience Asheville NC and Johnson City TN are less than an hour away. Come stay in our lovely cabin.

You can soak in tranquility at this modern cabin with a hot tub, indoor fireplace and outdoor living space. The Caney Fork River borders the 63 acre farm, which connects directly to over 60,000 acres of protected wilderness where you have free access to miles of hiking trails, magical waterfalls, historic homesteads and impressive caves. At the cabin, you can listen to the sounds of nature as you take in the scenic valley views of Big Bottom and the mountain views of Scott’s Gulf State Park.

This private and wooded fifty acre property includes includes a collection of two pioneer built cabins (moved and rebuilt at this location in 2003) and a treehouse that together, can accommodate up to 14 guests and offer a cozy sanctuary for connecting with friends and family, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and the peaceful beauty of nature.
