With country walks straight from the doorstep, a 17th century Inn, Cafe and Play area within a short stroll the location is a perfect retreat after a long day exploring everything South Devon has to offer. The Apiary is a converted hayloft sitting at the end of a 16th Century Dartmoor Farmhouse, a short ten-minute walk from Widecombe in the Moor and 200m from the Two Moors Way. With it’s own private parking & entrance, the elegantly furnished room features an eclectic mix of antique furniture and Smeg kitchen appliances. From April to August, wander 50m down the road to a five-acre wildflower meadow with a Dartmoor stream and a collection of wild orchids & swathes of native wildflowers.

The Garden Flat is located in a listed building within easy walking distance of Ashburton Cookery School and the lovely shops and cafes in our tiny town. Dartmoor National Park is on our doorstep and the stunning South Devon coastline is just a short drive away. One dedicated parking space. One well behaved dog is welcome, there is a fee of £30 per stay to bring one dog.
