A master bedroom links on to a compact lounge & ensuite bathroom, dining & kitchen area from either side all with full views of the water & lagoon. There is a seperate sleeping pod with a Queen size bed 2 metres from main dwelling for an extra 2 guests. Amazing second Hot outdoor shower under the trees.

Cath and Al are kiwi locals having been born and brought up in this area and lived here all our lives. We are happy to give guests advice on where to visit and what to see. Our accommodation is located in a quiet peaceful location with bush and native birdsong on a ridge. There are breathtaking views across Sandy Bay, Marahau and Abel Tasman National Park from the apartment.

The house is over the road from the beach and close to all Marahau facilities including the National Park. You will have your own private entrance through a covered outside porch that has a couch and 2 chairs and is a lovely extra space to relax. Upstairs you have a bedroom with a double bed, bathroom and living room which has a pull out coach for a third guest.

A holiday home nestled amongst rocks and native bush in beautiful Golden Bay, 8km from Takaka. Only a 5 minute stroll to Pohara beach 300m away, and a 5 minute drive to explore nearby Ligar Bay and Tata Beach, 2 minute drive to the Abel Tasman memorial lookout on the way, with a shop and eateries nearby also.
