Welcome to our peaceful, homely self-contained annex ajoined to our family converted barn. With its own entrance, bathroom and a cosy log burner, it’s the perfect countryside hideaway. Outside, you can meet our friendly chickens in the courtyard & take in the views / stunning sunsets of the fields behind. Ideally located for exploring Peak scenic walks, Macc Forest, Capesthorne Hall and Macclesfield town. (For Mid Nov- Dec bookings - The Shippon will be known as / become “The Grotto” ⛄️❄️😀)

Fabulous 16th Century Cottage. Private wing

Step back in time and enjoy a stay in this fabulous 16th-century listed cottage, nestled in the heart of the beautiful Cheshire countryside. Guests have exclusive use of a private wing of the property, featuring a cosy lounge with a log burner, a study/breakfast room, a spacious double bedroom, a single bedroom, and a bathroom with a bath and overhead shower. Although I live in a separate area at the rear of the property, your accommodation is entirely private . I am close by if needed

Looking for a relaxing break, or need a place to stay for a wedding, this is the perfect getaway set in the stunning Cheshire countryside. Set within 16acres of grassland, with a great view out over the pond, Waters Edge has plenty of wildlife to spot. There is a lovely walk around the local sand quarry with a stop off at the Waggon & Horses and if you fancy something longer you can head up to the cloud or the roaches. You are a two minute drive to Sandhole Oak Barn and The Plough Inn.

The Woodland Watch

If you are looking to have a relaxing break away from life’s stresses then The Woodland Watch is perfect. The hut is warm and cosy with all modern amenities set on a working dairy farm. Unwind with the beautiful views and stunning sunsets whilst listening to the woodland wildlife. There are also many lovely walks in our area and good access to local shops. We also have a two bedroomed property called Rock End Retreat located at the same address if guests wish to bring a larger group.

Set in 4 acres of our own grounds, Discover N.T. properties inc Tatton Park Lyme Park & Quarry Bank etc Jodrell Bank and Capesthorne Hall(home of Lapland Manchester) are nearby. Merrydale and Colshaw Hall wedding venues are a very short drive away.

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. Located on a very sought-after residential estate and only a 25 minute walk into the centre of congleton. The house is situated at the end of the road (dead end) so no through traffic and very quiet. Within steps of the front door you can access the footpath that’s takes you in to our wonderful countryside within a few minutes.
