Chestnut Lodge

Chestnut Lodge is situated in an acre of private gardens set in a quiet rural location, with far reaching countryside views. The Lodge dates back to circa 1750, originally the cow barns on the farm. We purchased the property in 2017 and renovated one of the cow barns to the Lodge adding all the original character with salvaged exposed oak beams throughout and furnished to a luxury standard. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Beautiful cottage in the picturesque village of Mattishall. Accommodates 6 people in 3 bedrooms one double bedroom upstairs and one bedroom with two single beds and a further third bedroom roughly 10 feet away from the main house with a king size bed. Kitchen with washing machine and dining table and chairs for 6 Cosy lounge leading to windy cottage stairway up to bedrooms. Outside benefits from a games room and lazy spa!
