Our place is perfect for couples or friends or those on a business trip. Cafes, bars, restaurants and shops are within a five-minute walk. Stroud's award-winning market is every Saturday. The apartment is contained within our house and shares a front door with the main house.

Thrupp is a quiet hamlet only a mile from Stroud town centre. This apartment is an excellent base for enjoying all the delights and amenities of the immediate area and surrounds. It really is “Downstairs Upstairs” with two en suite double bedrooms (Hudson & Bridges) and each can be made up with either King Size or Twin beds. This is an idyllic location with stunning views but many amenities and attractions are within walking distance.

Our space is a self contained studio with a bed, sofa, workspace and air con, light and airy it is the ideal base to explore the Stroud Valleys. N.B. THERE IS BUILDING WORK ON OUR HOUSE, THE ANNEXE IS A SEPARATE BUILDING BUT CLOSE TO OUR HOUSE. WORK WILL BE MON-FRI ONLY, BUT THERE WILL BE BUILDING MATERIALS AND MESS IN THE GARDEN. The interior of the annexe will be unaffected, but we have reduced the price to reflect the substandard exterior. Please only book if you understand this.

The Stableyard

Nestling within the beautiful golden valley in the heart of the Cotswolds is The Stableyard, a recently converted stable building positioned next to a 16th century mill owner's house, The Old Valley Inn. The Stableyard is the perfect, peaceful place for a couple to unwind and enjoy this fantastic area, which boasts a picturesque canal path and walks a plenty. Not that easy to find.
