Separate entrance to sun-filled, spacious studio apartment above main house. Private balcony overlooks a large garden that guests may use. 15+ minute walk to UC, downtown theaters, restaurants, BART to San Francisco. Queen bed, sitting area, and small fridge, microwave, kettle, and toaster (not a full kitchen). 6 steps to front door; 14 steps to the studio. If over 6 ft. tall, this might not be for you (low ceiling). If you want peace & quiet surrounded by a beautiful garden this is for you!

Cozy Elmwood Studio near UC Berkeley

Our Cozy Elmwood Studio is like a tiny hotel room with all the comforts of home. This 120sq ft (15'x8'), newly remodeled, nicely appointed studio is an independent structure ideal for 1 guest, cozy for 2. The door of the studio faces our back patio, so you may hear us. The nightly rate includes use of our driveway. Please let us know and we will leave it empty for you. **Starting September 1, 2017 Berkeley is requiring hosts to collect a 14% occupancy tax. This is included in your fees.**

This spacious, bright bedroom with a private attached bathroom is situated at the back of the house and opens onto a shared garden. Sleep on a king memory foam mattress and enjoy the natural light that pours through the skylight. There is a patio deck with table and chairs to enjoy meals outdoors. Previously an art studio, now a simple detached cottage at the entrance of our property.
