The Creek Cottage

The Creek Cottage is a bright and airy, open floor plan home located just 2 miles from Mount Ida, 5 miles from Lake Ouachita and super easy access to many of the area crystal mines. There is a king bed in the common area that can be walled off by the large room divider curtain. A separate bedroom has 2 large twin beds and there is also a couch comfortable enough to sleep on if needed. One bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen complete this small gem in the woods overlooking a year-round creek.

Royal Cabin Tiny Home

Small Cabin located on 10 acres with spectacular views! Wake up and look out over the Ouachita mountains! Step out onto the large deck and enjoy a hot cup of coffee and nature! The loft is carpeted and has a Queen mattress. We have a full (tiny-home) kitchen with pots and pans or a grill if you choose to cook. Cute Bathroom with large shower. Blow dryer in cabinet. No cable (unplug and enjoy nature!) But we do have a DVD player and we usually watch TV using our lightning cord on our iPhones!

Gypsy Sunset Cabin

Get away from the crowd in a beautiful wooded setting tucked in the tree tops of the Ouachita Forest. Enjoy gorgeous sunsets while relaxing after a fun filled day boating on Lake Ouachita, hiking or biking scenic trails, kayaking, rivers and creeks or exploring the nearby town and enjoying the variety of dining options. There is seasonal lake access for boats and all season for kayaking and canoes just a couple of blocks away. Ten minutes to all season launching at Hwy 27 Fishing Village.

Stone Cottage on Whittington

Welcome to our historic getaway, The Stone Cottage on Whittington, as you experience small town Mount Ida, Arkansas. This recently updated, bright, and airy craftsman cottage greets you with ample light, crisp painted walls, and the sound of hardwood underfoot. Whether you are looking to cuddle up with a good book or breathe in the fresh scent of loblolly pine, the cottage provides solitude while being embraced by nature in a quaint downtown setting in the heart of Ouachita National Forest.

Cool Ridge Cabin

Enjoy the peace of this cozy cabin. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils, pots, pans, baking pans, dishes and serving utensils, coffee pot, toaster, microwave, crock pot, blender. We supply coffee etc., salt, pepper. Bath towels, wash clothes, toilet paper and soaps. The beds are made with fresh linens. The covered deck faces the woods where you can enjoy the sound of the river. Cook out on the grill and enjoy a fire in the firepit. Wash your treasures on the outside table.

NEW OUACHITA RIVER CABIN DIRECTLY ON THE WATER!!!!

We do accept 1 small dog with a fee. Cabin is located just steps away from the Ouachita River. It has an awesome view of the river and is peaceful and quiet. You won't find a nicer cabin in this area. It has a big deck where you can sit and relax. It has a gas grill, Alexa command outdoor audio, and a swing set for the kids. It also has beautiful rock walkway leading down to the river with a lounging area and a charcoal grill and prepping table. You can swim or fish in front of the cabin.

Judy's Condo in the Forest at Lake Ouachita

The first time I walked into this condo I loved it. The surrounding trees made me feel like I was in a tree house. This Harbor East condo is located in the Ouachita National Forest, within close walking distance of one of the largest and most beautiful lakes in Arkansas, Lake Ouachita. You can enjoy sitting out on the deck watching the birds, squirrels and deer. There are plenty of windows and even three sky lights that give it an outdoor feel. It's a great place to rest and relax.

Our rustic log queen size bed is perfect for getting a restful night's sleep before exploring the Ouachita Mountains just outside your door. You will enjoy playing a fun game of horseshoes, Baggo, grilling or just sitting around the firepit while listening to the creek and birds.

Dreaming Buffalo - 47 acre retreat

Overview: Cabin is located on 47 acres of beautiful terrain. 22 acres of heavy wooded trails to explore. Several creeks that eventually shed into the great Ouachita River. Nestled up against the Ouachita National Forest, there are 1.2 million acres of forest within minutes drive. Less than 30 minutes drive to several crystal mines and State Parks. This labor of love is sure to delight when you open the door to this warm country theme inside the cabin.

There’s plenty of room for 7 to sleep, as well as 2 full baths, a stocked kitchen, and laundry facilities.
