Dating from 1895, it was designed by renowned architect Sir Edwin Lutyens for Princess Louise, daughter of Queen Victoria. Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park is just 20 miles away, Luss is 19 miles and Glasgow is a 39 mile drive. Nearest rail stations are Garelochead - 6 miles - and Helensburgh - 13 miles from where trains run to Oban and beyond, Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Loch Lomond Chalet

You’ll love my place because of the quiet peaceful surroundings beside a small stream and looking out over Loch Lomond. Situated in a private holiday lodge estate at the foot of Ben Lomond looking over Loch Lomond to the mountains beyond. There is a sandy beach just in front of the lodge. My place is good for couples, families and pets. Rowardennan is on the quieter eastern shores of Loch Lomond at the foot of Ben Lomond. There are NO shops in Rowardennan but online groceries can be delivered.

Woodside is a stunning 1850s Victorian mansion. The beautifully renovated top floor apartment has two bedrooms and private bathroom. There is a seating area in the twin bedroom and fridge/microwave/coffee machine in the hallway. An ideal base for visiting the area or for a stop-over. Grounds are extensive and views are breathtaking. Loch Long shore is at the bottom of the garden and there is a kids play area. Easy access to Loch Lomond, Glasgow, Arrochar Alps, Faslane and Coulport Naval bases.

Well positioned in the Rowardennan private lodge estate, there are beautiful views from the lodge across Loch Lomond and of the surrounding mountains. My place is close to the waters edge.Stunning unique tranquil loch front setting in the Arrochar Alps located only 45 minutes from Glasgow City Centre, or 55 minutes from the Ski Centre in Glencoe. A spacious chalet consisting of three 3 bedrooms, all beds are full size with luxury sprung matress, large lounge with walk out decking with panoramic views only 10 ft from the waters edge at high tide. You simply will not find a better waterside location.
