Relaxing is also a part of renewal so on-site activities and the surrounding communities offer plenty of recreation and tourism opportunities. Marmutt Woods is a place to step out of daily distractions to relax and refocus. Even if you are here primarily for some other reason, we hope you'll take advantage of the quiet time and provided materials.

St Germain is perfectly located in between all the northwoods action of Minocqua, Eagle River, Saynor, Manitowish, Boulder Junction. Incredible fishing, access to miles of bike, walking , atv trails. We even have a beach with shallow sandy bottom. The cabin is set back from the lake on the property but you still have complete access to all of it.

The Heart of Vilas County Bike Trails and numerous Hiking trails are just minutes away. The #5 Snowmobile/ATV trail runs across the front of the property along Hwy 51 and we are surrounded by many area lakes and the Northern Highland State Forest.
