Taos Skybox “Galaxy” High Desert Retreat

Set on 30 acres of private land on the western edge of town, Taos Skybox "Galaxy" is a unique vacation home experience, purpose-built to take advantage of the dark skies and endless vistas of the high desert landscape. Sitting at 7,000 ft. above sea level, views abound, as your retreat borders Taos Pueblo Native lands, yet is only 15 minutes from the Taos Plaza. Truly a memorable destination, Galaxy is modern and well-equipped with TWO bedrooms, a full kitchen, laundry, and fiber optic internet!

Pepper Sauce Camp Cabin 6

Cabin 6 is our most popular unit. With wood log walls inside it's about 900 sq. ft and sleeps up to 5 people. It's got a full size fridge, gas stove, microwave and a full set of dishes, pots and pans, utensils, etc. There's a wood burning stove plus gas and electric heaters. It has a large foyer/entryway for all your outdoor gear. The patio out back offers unobstructed views to the lake, while the log bench out front is a perfect spot to sit and watch the sunset over Wheeler Peak, NM's tallest.

The Red Earth Palace Retreat

An architectural gem with private access to natural hot springs in the Rio Grande Gorge Park. A living and breathing piece of art on fifteen private acres nestled amongst junipers trees, pinon and sage brush, offering sweeping views of the surrounding valley. Sustainably built with cast earth walls, corrugated metal roof, radiant heat, and Japanese style mahogany wood work, plus all the amenities and comforts of a modern home. Miles of hikes into and above the Rio Grande River and Gorge.

Taos Earthship: Modern + Mesa

Located in the world-famous Greater World Earthship Community, this modern off-grid home is one of a kind! Built by hand over 8 years by me, your host, Kirsten. This sustainable house is bright, light, and airy with clean lines and unique details. Like all Earthships this house is built from natural and repurposed materials such as used automobile tires, cardboard, old cans and bottles. All electricity for the house is from solar. All water is from the sky. More comfort, less hippie.

This listing is for the private west side of Mother Earthship. The attached east-side casita, Raven’s Lair, is rented separately; both sides are private with only the driveway shared. Bali is ideal for guests who want a memorable high-desert stay with sustainable design, natural light, quiet surroundings, and modern comfort.

STUNNING RANCH HEADQUARTERS SURROUNDED BY WILDLIFE

It is a wonderful experience to stay in our beautiful home in the mountains of Northern New Mexico surrounded by vast ranch lands. Viewing wildlife and observing nature is a favorite pastime for our guests and the wildlife is everywhere, from birds in the sky and in the water to many elk, deer and other mammals abound. The log home is modern and refined in its restoration although it is now 100 years old and is unique to our area in its style and comfort. We DO NOT ALLOW PETS.

Bunkhouse is detached and private for the guest.

This unique place has a style all its own. Resting in an old mining town with a great view of Baldy and Wheeler mountain. You can find us about halfway between Angel Fire and Red River, both amazing ski resorts! The bunkhouse is s 1 bedroom with a sitting room, an attached bathroom, and shower. we have TV, and the internet. My husband and I live in the house next door with our 2 friendly dogs, and cats, so if there are any concerns, we are close by. We would love to host you!

This little cabin is nestled in the pines with spectacular views of the Sangre de Cristo mountains. The roads are a little rough, but this will only assure you a quite and peaceful retreat away from crowded campgrounds and congested resort areas. If you are interested in hiking or exploring, this is the perfect place, or you can simply relax and enjoy some quite solitude on the mountain. Wake up to stunning sunrises over Fisher’s Peak at this peaceful cabin just outside Trinidad, Colorado. Enjoy coffee on the deck, quiet mornings, wildlife, and incredibly dark skies where the Milky Way is often visible. A cozy retreat for couples and nature lovers. Charming Train Depot built in 1890

Enjoy a piece of railroad history! This train depot, built in 1890 was once located in Maxwell, New Mexico. This piece of history is beautifully refinished and is located in the country club addition of Raton. The nostalgic kitchen has the original writing on the walls, as the passengers went through and signed their names. The signatures are now kept behind plexiglass to preserve the handwriting.
