Enjoy this 750 sq ft peaceful mountain getaway! It is about 3 miles from Blue Ridge Parkway which is known for its scenery and mountain overlooks. It’s about 6 miles from Stone Mountain Park with lots of outdoor activities like hiking, swimming holes and waterfall watching. If that’s not your thing head over to Elkin, NC and do some wine tours/tasting. If peace and quiet is what you are looking for, no need to leave the cabin. There are on-site games and VHS movies. We have been renovating an old 1950’s dairy barn since 2013. We fell in love with this location because the barn is set in a beautiful valley in the Appalachian Mountains. You have to drive through the creek to get to the barn. We built this private Rustic Rooster Room on the creekside of the barn with its private entrance.
