Nestled between two historic brownstone buildings, this cozy space offers a large semi-private outdoor garden for guests to enjoy. Just steps from Main Street, you’ll find quaint shops, unique restaurants, and all that La Veta has to offer. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This beautiful and historic getaway is only 15 miles from downtown Trinidad. Nestled in the heart of Chicosa Canyon is filled with wildlife and has many interesting rock formations and stone carvings. Go exploring this 65 acre property that is filled with natural wonders. Also a great place to see ufo's/ uap's in the star filled sky. We are close to the area that was featured on Beyond Skinwalker Ranch three times. Horse hotel now open too.

Great studio apartment. Beautiful views with country living, quiet and peaceful, 1.5 miles to town. Owners on site, friendly but private, no contact unless initiated by you. Walk the neighborhood and enjoy the views in every direction. Can accommodate 2 adults and one child comfortably. The queen bed is a very comfortable Murphy Bed. The apartment will NOT accommodate 3 adults. Quiet time is 10 PM - 7 AM. Enjoy the starry nights, & beautiful cool mountain days. Designated parking area.

River's Bend

Located on the bank of the Cucharas River, the River's Bend ideal mountain retreat is geared for a family vacation, or personal restorative get away. This two beadroom, 3 bath cabin can accomadate up to six guests in the main cabin with use of the luxury cots in the spacious sunroom. With special arrangements, the detatched Sleeping Hut outfitted with queen bed and sleeping loft offers additional beds and the best sleep you will ever experience!
