Chena Aurora Family House

A short drive up the road to Chena Hot Springs or to North Pole to Santa Claus House and more. Watch the Yukon Quest 1000 Mile Dog Sled race pass right right in front of Outpost. This house is a great place for family gatherings with a full kitchen stocked with basics and if you need a special kitchen appliance, dish or baking wear just call and I’ll deliver. Animals are allowed with disclosing upon booking. We have reindeer and dog mushing tours next door so all dogs must be on a leash.

Cabin Hideaway with Hot tub

Our Cabin with hot tub is a quiet, and relaxing place. With its own private driveway, no one will bother you during your stay. The cabin offers a fully equipped kitchen, so you can cook a nice meal. We also have a grill on the front porch incase you prefer to grill. Both 1st floor,and the loft have a queen size bed. A washer/dryer in the bathroom just in case you want to throw in that load of laundry. Whether you’re on vacation or just passing by for work, our cabin can accommodate you well.

This rustic cabin is located on Chena Hot Springs road, approximately 25 miles from downtown Fairbanks and 30 miles from the hot springs. It has 1 set of queen sized bunk beds, 1 couch, and a full sized bunk above the couch. The cabin is semi dry, meaning that there is cold running water in the kitchen sink but otherwise no indoor plumbing. Outhouse is less than 50 feet from cabin. Coin showers, laundromat, post office and general store are 2 miles down the road. Kitchen is fully outfitted.

One bedroom, one bathroom apartment fifteen minutes from town in a peaceful country setting. If you have business on Fort Greely it is only approximately a 20 minutes drive. There is plenty of free parking available with rental. Move-in ready with washer/dryer, private kitchen and bathroom. Kitchen and bath essentials plus extra are provided. Bedroom has a comfortable Queen bed, private workspace, electric fireplace, chairs and television to make your stay seem like a home away from home.

You will have a spectacular panoramic view of Mt. Sanford & Mt Drum. Our 2 bedroom log home built with trees from the property will be perfect to base your Alaskan adventure. The very open floor plan of the house is the perfect spot for a family or group of very close friends to enjoy the beauty of the Copper Basin area.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Each bedroom gives you plenty of private space but also provides room for family gatherings in the cozy open living area. The kitchen is complete with all items needed to make a delicious home cooked meal or if you prefer to grill, the back deck gives you that option with great landscaping views and hot tub. The backyard also has a fire pit for those cool bonfire nights. Come soak up the northern lights in our hot tub.

Schooner Lake Vacation Rental

This lake front rental is located off the Glenn Highway, nestled in the small community of Nelchina, on Schooner Lake (45 miles outside of Glennallen). Although techincally only one bedroom, this place offers a spacious 800 sq. feet of open living space on one story and provides spectacular views of the Chugach Mountains from the South facing windows. The location of the rental makes for a great home base to travel, as it is centerally located between Anchorage and Valdez.
