The kitchen is fully equipped and fresh produce is available from the neighboring organic farm in season. Good hiking trails are accessible from the house.

The Treecastle at the Roundhouse Homestead

The Treecastle started as a vision when I was a child, but came to life during the quarantine of 2020. Escaping into the woods and surrounded by nature, the treecastle is supported on one end completely by a mature pin oak with hardware from Treehouse Masters TV show. Hei, Jeg er født og oppvokst i Norge (Bergen), og er bosatt i New Paltz, ca 1,5 time nord for New York City. Vi har ett stor hus her og leier ut en leilighet på Airbnb. Det går buss fra NYC til New Paltz, og vi bor ca 5 min kjøretur fra buss stoppet. Det er best å leie bil siden det er en 10 min. kjøretur til New Paltz sentrum, men gjestene kan også hentes hvis de ikke har bil. Vi bor på en landvei med ett vineri rett ved siden av oss.
