The Carriage House, Haversham

This memorable place is anything but ordinary. Stay in the Carriage House to enjoy the garden and relax in the spacious interior whether for work, a romantic break or R&R. This stone barn was renovated in 2012 by the owners, retaining the character of the original building, whilst installing underfloor heating, an air source heat pump, a fabulous kitchen, oak windows, doors and staircase and a beautiful bedroom. The location is rural and secluded in a small village close to Milton Keynes.

Private cosy canal-side Annexe with own front door. The king-size bedroom has a good sized en-suite shower room, which includes fresh towels, hair dryer and an iron. There is a separate open-plan lounge/kitchen, which is fully equipped including a dishwasher. The lounge has a comfortable, electric feet-up lay back sofa, with a Smart TV. We ensure our guests have some fresh groceries upon arrival., including tea, coffee, milk, cereal, bread, etc for a simple breakfast.

When inside feel free to enjoy a relaxing night under the stars, ideal for a couple or solo travellers. The Secret Corner is the perfect base to explore local areas including Woburn, Wrest Park and a short ride away to Flitwick Train Station with direct access to London St Pancras in less than an hour.

Welcome to your cosy corner of the Bedfordshire countryside - a peaceful rural escape, yet minutes from the M1, Milton Keynes and major transport links. You'll have Highland Cows grazing in the field right behind you and a lake with swans and ducks in view across the grounds. Peaceful and quiet but within easy walking distance of a 17th Century pub serving real ales and pub food. The market town of Olney with its restaurants, bars, antique shops and supermarkets is 2 miles away. The annexe is in the garden of a Grade II Listed thatched cottage.
