Whether you are here to hike parts of the Appalachian Trail, stroll into town for a leisurely meal, enjoy Lime Rock Race Track or explore the many surrounding New England towns you can be assured you will always have a comfortable home to come back to!! My home is located just a 3 minute walk to the center of town and the historic White Hart.

We are thrilled to share our idyllic country home with you and hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Built in 1882, set on a hill with ample indoor and outdoor space (two kitchens!) overlooking the Housatonic River and the famous West Cornwall bridge, our fully stocked house is close to hiking, fishing, kayaking, skiing/snowboarding. Set in gorgeous Litchfield Hills near the Appalachian trail, wineries, breweries, farms, rivers and lakes, waterfalls, antiques, casual or fine dining

If you love being in touch with nature, this is a perfect and pleasant place to enjoy with family and friends and wake up to the sound of birds! and enjoy all the seasons of the year. And in winter you can escape 15 minutes to this area of ​​Mohawk paradise and if you are a fishing lover, the House-tonic River is just 5 minutes away, 2 minutes to Kent Falls, 7 minutes to Kent where you can find restaurants and a grocery store! You can enjoy beautiful flower gardens from spring to fall.

Our A-frame home stands out for the way it invites the outdoors in. With skylights and soaring windows, you can experience the natural beauty of the forest from every room—whether you're sipping coffee while watching deer or wild turkeys wander through the yard, enjoying the gentle drift of autumn leaves, or cozying up during a summer storm. Even on chilly days, the house feels connected to nature in a peaceful, grounding way. Guests have access to our local swimming hole, Mudge Pond.

The Farmhouse

Enjoy staying at our charming Farmhouse in the heart of our working dairy farm. Our farm sits on some of the most beautiful hills in Cornwall with the famous Gateway to Cornwall view where you can see our dairy cows grazing in the grandeur of nature. Come say hello to the cows in the barn during milking or watch the herd cross the road evoking sites you might expect to see in small European farming villages. You'll likely see us on our tractors bringing hay and water to our cows!

A tasteful country retreat perfect for discerning guests who want to unwind comfortably. Wake up to breathtaking views in one of the most picturesque--and undiscovered--corners of America. Enjoy seclusion in a renovated farmhouse with lovingly restored period details abutting the William F Buckley family nature preserve, a postcard-worthy 500-acre gentleman's farm and views of the Appalachian Trail in the distance. The small private pond stocked with fish will entertain children.
