The house is situated in the lovely & quiet residential area of Elmfield in Ryde, only 2 km from City Centre & 1.5 km from the white sandy beach at Appley. We think you'll love staying here as much as we do especially if you're looking for a place with a home feeling rather than a holiday let. Location is also central for exploring the island, providing a great base for your holiday.

The coastal path takes you to the public lift in Shanklin where you can find cafes, ice cream shops, crazy golf and amusement arcades. You don't have far to drive for family day trips such as Robin Hill Country Park.

The Battery was built on the eastern coastline of the Isle of Wight and became a scheduled monument in 2015, being one of the best surviving Victorian Batteries and, as such, all the bomb proof shelters, ammunition stores, gun positions and defensive structures in the surrounding grounds remain intact. Get away to this dear little house in the middle of lovely Cowes - up a pedestrianised mews. Cowes is a delightful little town with many independent shops and cafes. (M&S and Sainsbury's food halls too). Most of the town is pedestrianised and it's 5 minutes' walk to the esplanade. The Red Jet foot passenger ferry from Southampton is (less than) 5 minutes' walk.
