Our thoughtfully designed waterfront escape on the Sunshine Coast is ready for you to relax and let your troubles melt away. Beach access is just steps away from the door. A peak-a-boo ocean view from the SW facing deck, and hiking and bike trails, and waterfalls just short distance. The interior is carefully curated with luxurious finishes and beautiful and comfortable furnishings in every room.

Welcome to our Hillside Oasis! Enjoy your own private spacious coach house with an unbelievable view. One bedroom, one bathroom, hotplate, toaster oven, fridge, pull-out couch, living room, cute little wood burning stove. 5 minute drive to the cove/ferry terminal. Relax on your private patio after visiting the lakes/ beaches, or shopping in the cove. Wifi TV w/Firestick. Queen bed. Note we are a 45 min walk uphill from the ferry. Hummingbird Oceanside Suites: The Modern Cabin

OCEAN & MOUNTAIN VIEWS w/ PRIVATE HOT TUB & SHARED WOOD BARREL SAUNA The cabin is a beautiful spot to relax with friends and family, with its huge windows that provide sweeping views of West Van, North Shore Mountains and the Howe Sound. The cabin is 1,000 sq.ft. with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room w/ sofa bed, full kitchen, large patio, and private hot tub. Sleeps 4 adults & 2 kids. There’s no better place to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine to soak in the views!

Not suitable for children or infants. Lots of concrete and sharp corners. Enjoy the entire upper floor of this unique West Coast Modern home, built in 2012, with use of water side lawn. A delight for architecture enthusiasts, Bench 170 was a featured venue for the Sunshine Coast Art Crawl for 7 years. Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. There are two large sun-filled bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, a kitchen, dinning room and living room. There’s also a third bedroom with a sofa bed for a 5th person or use it as a kids room ( we have portable crib/pack n play, a bassinet and a toddler's matresd). All rooms overlook the gardens with mountain and ocean views. This is a self contained suite in the first level of the house we live on the second floor.

We have updated The Hideout and look forward to welcoming the world back at the end of summer 2025!! The Hideout grew from a vision we had when we moved to the Coast in 2020. With the desire to share our dream of living amongst the trees, tucked away from the world, The Hideout was created. Wrapped in hand milled cedar, fir and hemlock this space was designed to remind us to slow down, breathe deep and take it all in.
